This was a new adventure for me with my sewing machine. Mallie needed a new bed and it took me a while to figure it out.
I used an egg crate doubled to make it soft.
I got a sheet at Target to use for the material.
I made a pocket in the back like they do for some pillows. I hope you can see it.
This was the pad I made for her kennel with some fabric I already had.
The nice part about these is that they are both washable.
Hugs, Gretchen
Woo hoo... aren't you smart? We have three dogs in the house (!) and when they were young, we tried to have dog beds. Well one of them insisted on peeing on it, so we did away with the dog beds. However, I threw some blankets in the floor the other day and they all used it, for several days, without peeing!! So I'm thinking of reintroducing the dog beds. I like the washable cover you made!!!

For a long time I was looking for a bed to gift it to my dog. But I was unable to find a comfortable bed that will give comfort to my pet. Ultimately, I found the Breezy Bunk dog cot which is the best for summer and winter season. It keeps my dog cool and comfortable in summer and during winter my pet can relax on this bed. I found my dog very happy and calm from the day I am using it.
