Our grandson Carson Grube graduated Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 10:00 from K-4.
Here he is with his Mama Elizabeth.
Let me tell you a little about Carson. He loves to read and I mean read to himself. He now gets to stay up an extra 1/2 hour because he relaxes by reading. He is such a sweet boy and loves spending time outside.
He and his Daddy are leaving after Graduation for a special trip. He and Chris are going to Beaufort, SC to see the "Blue Angels" on Sunday.

My creative son Rick built me a table for the screened porch, that I have been wanting for a while. I still have to put a finish on the cedar.
Some of you may not know that I am going to have Nicholas and Chloe two days a week this summer to babysit. Actually they will save me so very many steps. I thought this would be be the perfect place to do arts and crafts.
This table is hand hewn. I may have to get some new pillows that will work with the stain.
We can do arts & crafts in the morning and swim in the afternoon.
Rick you have outdone yourself this time. I know how busy you are and I hate taking you away from your paying customers. Surprise, suprise I'm even going to pay you for this. Love, Mom. You are the best!

Since Mr. Bird Nest seems to end up carrying my purse everywhere now that I need my cane, he suggested I get a lighter purse.
My cousin Betsy thought Vera Bradley would be light and have lots of little pockets. I have about 5 in different colors already, so this is a great reason to add to my collection.

The Froggie sandbox got all spruced up for summer.
The brown rubber mulch should make it safer and softer.
